Join tax advisor and accountant Jane Webster - who specialises in the arts and creative industries – for a session covering the basics of managing your finances.Jane worked as a dance artist for ten years before becoming a producer, and then a Director of Dorset Dance (now Activate Performing Arts), and Dance South West (Pavilion Dance South West). In 2006 she completed a Masters in Business Administration and became a partner, then Director in Rowlands Webster, an accountancy firm with a diverse client base. She is also an occasional finance lecturer at Arts University Bournemouth, in Creative Events Management and is currently a Trustee of Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts and a Director of the Lyric Theatre, Bridport.This presentation will cover the need-to-know basics, including:
